In the varna tier, kshatriyas were at second position after Brahmans, meaning that they were respected the most after the Brahmans. But, the possible statement which can replace this line is "The Dalits were considered as untouchables" because in the varna tier, they come at last and were forced to do the so-called dirty jobs like cleaning the sewage and since, people had a strong mindset that their luck will be polluted if they touched the dalit, hence, dalits were considered as untouchable.
