the ladder is placed on the wall such that it's upper end is relating against a vertical wall. the foot of the ladder is 2.4 m from the wall and the ladder is making a angle of 60 with the ground. find the height upto which the ladder reaches.

Cos teta=adj/hyp

Cos60=2.4/x

1/2=2.4/x

X=2.4x2=4.8
