Solution for the above problem is given below:

The shop keeper lost a total of 3650 rupees so option (d) 3650 is correct.

• The amount of money given by the lady is = 2000

• The total amount of money returned by the shop keeper to her = 1650

• The shopkeeper gets the change from the next shop is = 2000

• He took 350 rs for himself and returned 1650 to the lady.

• The shopkeeper found that 2000 note was duplicate.

• Finally, the shopkeeper losses 3650 rs.

2000 - 350 = 1650

2000 + 1650 = 3650

So option (d) 3650 is the correct answer.
