The Lakshadweep Islands of Arabian Sea are coral islands. When it comes to Lakshadweep, it is commonly called as Aminidivi, Laccadive and Minicoy Islands.

It is collection of islands located in the Laccadive Sea. Both the Laccadive island subgroup and Aminidivi island subgroup is having a great submarine link between them via Pitti Bank.

The kavaratti india is a major island of Laccadive islands. All islands are developed by corals and also have some fringing coral reefs near their shores.
