Answer:

first find volume of large tank which is

                           volume of large tank(v1) = 15 x 15 x 12

                                                                    = 2700 cm^3

                                                                    =2700 x 1000 = 2700000 mm^3

                            volume of water in tank = 2700000 x 4/5

                                                                    = 2160000 mm^3

                                                           1 litre = 1000000 mm^3

volume of water in tank = 2160000/1000000

                                                                     = 2.16 litres

                              volume of smaller tank = 80 mm x 50 mm x 60 mm

                                                                     = 240000 mm^3

                                                                     = 0.24 litres

                  remaining water in larger tank = 2.16 - 0.24 = 1.92 litres

the answer would be 1.92 litres or 1920000 mm^3.

feel free to ask if you need any clarifications.
