So,  other angle = x° + 18

Now, since both are supplementary angles

we get, x + x + 18° = 180°

or, 2x = 180° - 18° = 162°

So, we get x = \frac{162}{2}°

or x = 81°

Hence , the smaller angle is x = 81°

and the larger angle is (x +18)° = (81 + 18)° = 99°
