The larger of two supplementary angles exeeds the smaller by 18° .Find the angles.

{\huge{\bf{\underline{\underline{\rm{SolutiOn:}}}}}}

Let x and y be the required angles.

{\tt{\red{According\:to\:the\:given\: condition}}}

x+y = 180°.................(1)

➪x = y +18

and

putting this value of x in equation (1)

y + 18 + y = 180°

➪2y = 180 - 18

➪y = 81

now,putting this value of y in equation (1) we get,

x = 81+18

➪x=99
