Answer:

to give way. phrase. If an object that is supporting something gives way, it breaks or collapses, so that it can no longer support that thing.

Pressure required is 321.4 kPa.

Given - Diameter and mass

Find - Pressure

Solution - Pressure is calculated by the formula-

Pressure = weight/area

Weight = mass*Acceleration due to gravity

Weight = 2250*10

Weight = 22500 N

Area = π*radius²

Radius = diameter/2

Radius = 30/2

Radius = 15 cm

As we know, 1 m = 100 cm

15 cm = 0.15 m

Pressure = 22500/π*0.15²

Pressure = 22500/0.07

Pressure = 321428.6 Pa

As we know, 1000 Pa = 1 kPa

321428.6 Pa = 321.4 kPa

Hence, pressure required is 321.4 kPa.
