The largest dinosaurs of the time -- in fact, the largest land animals of all time -- were the gigantic sauropods, such as the famous Diplodocus (pictured at lower left), Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus. Other herbivorousdinosaurs of the Jurassic included the plated stegosaurs.
