TRUE. Protein composition of silk filamentsspun under water by caddisfly larvae. Silk fiber produced by the larvae of Trichoptera (caddisflies) and Lepidoptera (moths and butterflies) iscomposed of two filaments embedded in a layer of glue proteins.
