Given,

Length of cuboid = 2a unit

Breadth of cuboid = 2b unit

Height of cuboid = 2c unit

To find,

The lateral surface area of the given cuboid.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Here, we have to use the mathematical formula for calculating the lateral surface area of a cuboid. Which is -

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h (l+b)

Here,

h = height of cuboid

l = length of cuboid

b = breadth of cuboid

(This formula is obtained by subtracting the sum of the top and bottom surface areas, from the total surface area.)

So, by putting the the given values we get :

= 2×2c×(2a+2b)

= 4c×(2a+2b)

= (8ac+8bc) sq.units

Hence, the lateral surface area of the cuboid is (8ac+8bc) sq.units
