Answer

The lateral surface area is equal to the area of the sheet

Therefore,30800 is equal to 28 ×length

30800÷28=1100

Perimeter = 2 ×l+b

2×1128=2256

The perimeter of the rectangular sheet is 2256 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Lateral surface area of cylinder = 30800 sq.cm.

We are given that  It is cut along its height and formed a rectangular sheet of width 28 cm.

Area of cylinder = Area of rectangle

30800= Length \times Width \\30800 = Length \times 28\\\frac{30800}{28}=Length

1100 = Length

Perimeter of sheet = 2(l+b)=2(1100+28)=2256 cm

Hence the perimeter of the rectangular sheet is 2256 cm
