The lateral surface area of a hollow cylinder is 4224 cm sq. It is cut along it's height of a rectangular sheet of width 32 cm. Find the perimeter of the rectangular sheet.

Area of cylinder is the same

so, the curved hollow area of the cylinder = area of the rectangle

The curved area of the hollow cylinder=4224cm

Area of the rectangle= l x b

4224= l x 32

l= 4224 divided by 32

l= 132 cm..

then we have to find its its perimeter

perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 2(132+32)

=2(164)

= 328 cm...... that is practically the answer my friend..... :)
