Answer:

1445 cm

Explanation:

r=33 cm

2\pirh = Lateral Surface Area

= 2*22/7*33*h = 4224cm^2

h = 4224*7/2*22

= 689.5 cm

p = 2(l+b)

= 2(689.5+33)

= 2 * 722.5

= 1445 cm Ans.

Given:-

  • The lateral surface area of a hollow cylinder is 4224cm^2.
  • it is cut along its height and formed a rectangular sheet of width 33cm.

To Find:-

  • find the perimeter of rectangular sheet ?

Solutions:-

  • A hollow cylinder is cut along its height to from a rectangular sheets.

Area of cylinder = Area of rectangular sheet

⟹ 4224cm² = 33cm × length

⟹ length = 4224cm²/33cm

⟹ length = 128cm

The length of the rectangular sheet is 128cm.

Perimeter of the rectangular sheet = 2(length + width)

= 2(128cm + 33cm)

= 2 × 161cm

= 322cm

Hence, the perimeter of the rectangular sheet is 322cm.

Some Important:-

Volume of cylinder ( Area of base × height ). = (πr²) × h

= πr²h

Curved surface = ( Perimeter of base ) × height.

= (2πr) × h

= 2πrh

Total surface are = Area of circular ends + curved surface area.

= 2πr² + 2πrh

= 2πr(r + h)

Where,

r = radius of the circular base of the cylinder.

h = height of cylinder.
