The lateral surface area of a right circular cylinder with base radius 7 cm and height 10 cm. find the lateral surface area of right circular cylinder.

Given r = 7cm,

h = 10cm.

To find lateral surface area :

Lateral surface area of a cylinder = 2*pi*r*h

= 2× 22/7 × 7 × 10 cm²

= 440 cm².

Solution:

Given,

Base radius = 7 cm

Height of cylinder = 10 cm

As we know that,

Lateral surface area of a right circular cylinder = 2πrh

LSA of a right circular cylinder = 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 10

= 44/7 × 7 × 10

= 44 × 10

= 440 cm^2.

Therefore, the lateral surface area of right circular ccylinder is 440 cm^2.
