Given :-

  • The lateral surface area of ahollow cylinder is 4224 cm². it isncut along its height and formed a rectangular sheet of width 33 cm.

To Find :-

  • The Perimeter of rectangular sheet = ?

Solution :-

  • CSA of cylinder = 4224 cm²
  • rectangular sheet width = 33 cm

In the question it is said that hollow cylinder is converted to rectangular sheet. Therefore, there area must be same.

So,

→ CSA of cylinder = Area of rectangular sheet

→ 4224 = Length × Breadth

→ 4224 = Length × 33

→ Length = 4224 ÷ 33

→ Length = 128 cm

Therefore, Length of rectangular sheet is 128 cm.

Now, let's find the Perimeter of reactangular sheet.

➝ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

➝ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(128 + 33)

➝ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(161)

➝ Perimeter of rectangle = 322 cm

Therefore, the perimeter of rectangle is 322 cm.
