According to Annapurna scheme '10 kg of food grains' are to be given to each family.

EXPLANATION:

Government of India start the Annapurna scheme and it has come into effect from 1st April, year 2000. The main aim of this scheme is to offer food security to the eligible pensioners who are not covered under the National Old Age Pension Scheme.

According to the scheme the age of the pensioner should be 65 years or above, they should be outside the NOAPS scheme, must not have any financial support from family or any source of income. They are given 10kg of food grains per family in this scheme.
