The question must be wrong, as refraction does not occur through any mirror...

It is reflection, which occurs through a mirror,

and refraction occurs through a lens...

The question must be either The Law of The Reflection of Light, or The Law of The Refraction of Light...

The Laws of The Reflection of Light state that:

  • "The Angle of Incidence always equals the Angle of Reflection..."

=>Given By: i = r •SI Unit: radian(rad)

  • "The Incident Ray, the Reflected Ray, and The Normal at the Point of Incidence, all lie in the same plane..."

The Laws of The Refraction of Light state that:

  • "The Incident Ray, the Refracted Ray, and The Normal at the point of incidence, all lie on the same plane..."
  • "For light incident on a boundary between two optical media, the ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence to the sine of the angle of refraction is constant, being equal to the inverse ratio of the absolute refractive indices of the two media, called as the relative refractive index..."

=>Given By: μ = sin i/ sin r (unitless)
