So , let's solve the question :-

Let the other number be " x "
According to the question ,
☆ One number × Other number = L.C.M. × H.C.F.
On putting these values , we get :-
==> 60 * x = 240 × 12
==> x = ( 240 × 12 ) / 60
==> x = 40 × 12
==> x = 48
or
Other number = 48
