Let the HCF = X
Hence According to the given condition
LCM will be 14X.
It is given that LCM + HCF = 600
14X + X = 600
15X = 600
X = 600/15 = 40
Hence HCF = X = 40
& LCM = 14X = 14 × 40 = 560
Let the missing number be K.
Formula :- LCM × HCF = Product of the two numbers.
560 × 14 = 280 × K
7840 = 280K
Transposing 280 to Left
7840/280 = K
K=28
Hence other number = 28
