Let nos. be a and b we are given, a = 280
Let LCM of a & b be x and HCF of A and b be y

We are given x+y = 600 ..................................(1)
            and, x= 14y 
          
     By Putting x=14y in Eqn. (1)

           15y = 600
         so, y = 40
     so, x = 600-40
           x = 560 

We know that LCM*HCF = Product of numbers
 
 so, xy = 280*b
     560*40 = 280*b
    so, b = 80


So, Other Number is 80
