let the other number be x
LCM = 14×HCF(280,x)
HCF=600
LCM= product of x and280/HCF
14×HCF=280x/HCF
14×600=280x/600
x=14×600×600/280
x=18000
LCM = 14×HCF(280,x)
HCF=600
LCM= product of x and280/HCF
14×HCF=280x/HCF
14×600=280x/600
x=14×600×600/280
x=18000

Hii friend,
Let the HCF of two numbers is X.
Then the LCM of two numbers is 14X.
A/Q,
X+14X = 600
15X = 600
X = 600/15 = 40
THEREFORE,
HCF of two numbers = 40
And,
LCM of two numbers = 14X = 14×40 = 560
We know that,
One Number × Other Number = HCF × LCM
280 × other number = 40 × 560
Other Number = 40×560/280
Other Number = 22400/280 = 80
HENCE,
THE OTHER NUMBER = 80
HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU... :-)
