1st no. X 2nd no. = LCM x hcf
X * (100-x) = 8 x 495
100 x - x^2 = 3960
X^2 - 100 x + 3960 = 0
It seems to be error in question.......
I think hcf should be 5 in the given question
Otherwise u can't find factor
If HCF = 5
THEN
X^2 - 100X +2475 =0
X^2 - 55X - 45X +2475 = 0
(X - 55) (X - 45)
X = 55, 45 are two numbers
Then differences 55 - 45 =10
