Answer:

Let the other number be x

Given:LCM+HCF=1456

90HCF+HCF=1456

91HCF=1456

HCF=1456/91

HCF=16

LCM=90x16=1440

Since HCFxLCM=Product of two numbers

16x1440=160*x

ie x=1440*16/160

x=144

Answer:

144

Step-by-step explanation:

let the other no. be A

as per the question

lcm = 90 x hcf. eq1

and

lcm + hcf = 1456

lcm = 1456 - hcf eq2

comparing the 2 equations above

=> 90 hcf = 1456 - hcf

=> 91 hcf = 1456

=> hcf = 16

from eq 1

lcm = 90 x 16 = 1440

we know

lcm x hcf = 160 x A

=> (1440 x 16)/160 = A

=> A = 144
