Question :-

The length of a rectangle is 10 m more than its bredth. if the perimeter of rectangle is 80 m . find the demensions of rectangle.

Answer.

\red{\bigstar} Length [l]

\huge\leadsto{\sf\purple{25 \: m}}

\red{\bigstar} Breadth [B]

\huge\leadsto{\sf\purple{15 \: m}}

Given :-

Length of a rectangle is 10 m more than its breadth

So , if we let unknown breadth be "x"

Then our length will become ( x + 10 )

❥ Perimeter of Rectangle ↠ 80m

Find :-

❥ What's the Dimensions of Rectangle ?

Solution :-

Here we go !

As we know ,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L + B )

Now,

As according to given

↠ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( x + x + 10)

↠ 80 = 2 ( 2x + 10 )

↠ 80/2 = 2x + 10

↠ 40 = 2x + 10

↠ 2x = 30

↠ x = 15.

Hence,

The Value of x is 15

\therefore\underline{\boxed{\textsf{The value of x is = {\textbf{15}}}}} \qquad\qquad \bigg\lgroup\bold{Correct \ answer} \bigg\rgroup

Therefore,

↠ Length

↠ x + 10

↠ 15 + 10 ↠ 25

↠ Breadth = x = 15.

Additional Information :-

❥ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L + B )

❥ Perimeter of square = 4 × Side

❥ Perimeter of triangle = AB + BC + CA

❥ Area of Rectangle = L × B

❥ Area of Square = ( side ) ²

❥ Area of Rhombus = Product of Diagonal/2.

❥ Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height.

❥ Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height .
