The L.C.M. and H.C.F of two numbers are 1056 & 16 respectively and one of these numbers is 128. Find the
second number?​

LCM= 1056

HCF = 16

one no. = 128

let, the other nu be x.

Now , we know that

LCM × HCF = Product of numbers

1056×16 = 128 × X

16,896 = 128 × X

X = 16,896/128

X= 132

hence ,132 is the required number...

There is a rule, Product of HCF and LCM of 2 numbers = Product of the 1st and 2nd number.

1056 X 16 = 128 X second number

1056 X 16 / 128 = second number

second number = 132
