  • The area of equilateral triangle = 25√3 unit².

TO FIND :-

  • The length of each side of equilateral triangle.

SOLUTION :-

As we know that the formula of area of equilateral triangle is given by,

Area = √3/4 (side)²

⇒ 25√3 = √3/4 (side)²

⇒ 25√3 × 4 = √3 (side)²

⇒ 100√3 = √3 (side)²

⇒ (10)² √3 = √3 (side)²

On comparing the both sides we get,

⇒ (side)² = (10)²

side = 10 units.

Now , as we know that in equilateral triangle the length of each side is equal.

Therefore we can say that,

Side = 10 units.

Hence the length of each side of an equilateral triangle is 10 units.
