According to the question,

Area of the rectangle = Area of the square

So, Area of the square = 400 cm square

=> side² = 400

=> side = √400 = 20cm

Perimeter of the square = 4 × Side

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀= 4 × 20 cm
