Hello buddy

Length the rectangle (l) = 40 cm and

Breadth of the rectangle (b) = 10cm

Area of the rectangle = l × b

⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 40 × 10

⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 400 cm square

According to the question,

Area of the rectangle = Area of the square

So, Area of the square = 400 cm square

=> side² = 400

=> side = √400 = 20cm

Perimeter of the square = 4 × Side

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀= 4 × 20 cm

⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 80 cm

Hope this helps

Explanation:

Lenght of the rectangle is 40cm

And breadth is 10cm

Area of the rectangle = l × b = 400cm²

And also,

permieter of the rectangle = 2(l + b)

= 2(40 + 10)

= 100cm ans.
