The lenght and breadth of a rectangular field are in the ratio 9:5. If the area of the field is 14580 square meter , find the cost of surrounding the field with a fence at a rate of Rs. 3.25per meter

Let the length and breadth be 9x and 5x
And, area = 14580 square metres
So, l x b = area
9X x 5X = 14580
45x square = 14580
X square = 14580 /45
X square = 324
X = 324 under root
X = 18
So,length = 9 x 18 = 162
And, breadth = 5 x 18 = 90
Now, perimeter = 2( l+b)
=2(162 + 90)
=2 x 252
=504
Therefore, cost of surrounding the field with a fence at the rate of rs 3.25 per metre
=3.25 x 504
=rs 163800
So,cost of fencing = rs 163800
