the lenght,breadth and height of cuboidal box are 2m 10cm,1m and 80cm respectively.Find the area of canvas required to cover this box.

Length = 2m 10 cm

To convert 10 cm to metre, we have to divide 100 by 10 because 1m = 100 cm.

so , 10 ÷ 100 = 0.1 + 2 m

= 2.1 m

Hence, Length = 2.1 m

Breadth = 1 m

Height = 80 cm

= 0.8 m

we know,

Total surface area of cuboid = 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

↬ 2 × ( 2.1 × 1 + 1 × 0.8 + 0.8 × 2.1 )

↬ 2 × ( 4.58 )

↬ 9.16

Therefore, requires area of canvas,
