Let length be x.
Therefore,
Breadth=x/2.
Perimeter of rectangle=2 (l+b)
150=2 (x+x/2)
150=2*3x/2
150=3x
=>x=50.
Length=x=50 m.
Breadth=x/2=25m

Given: Length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth and the perimeter is 150cm.

To find: The length and breadth.

Answer:

Let the breadth be x.

Therefore, length of the field is twice its breadth ⇒ 2x.

Formula to find the perimeter: 2(Length + Breadth)

Substituting the values in the formula,

150 = 2(2x + x)

150/2 = 3x

75 = 3x

x = 75/3

x = 25

Therefore, the breadth is x = 25cm and length is 2x = 2*25 = 50cm.

Hope it helps :)
