the lenght of a rectangle is 16 m less then two times its breadth. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 112m, find the length and the breadth.

hey here is ur answer

let breadth be x

length = 2x-16

perimeter = 2(l+b)

112=2(2x-16+x)

112=2(3x-16)

112/2=3x - 16

56+16=3x

72/3=x

x=24

length =2(24)-16=32 m

breadth = 24m
