Given Perimeter of rectangle = 110m

Let the breadth (b) of the rectangle be x

Now, ATQ -

Length of the rectangle is 27m longer than the breadth.

Therefore length (l) of the rectangle = 27 + x

As we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Therefore,

2( 27 + x + x) = 110

2(27 + 2x) = 110

27 + 2x = 110 ÷ 2

27 + 2x = 55

2x = 55 - 27

2x = 28

x = 28 ÷ 2

x = 14m

As x = 14m

So, breadth of the rectangle = 14m

Length of the rectangle = 27 + 14 = 41m

Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

=> 41 × 14

=> 574 sq. m
