The lenght of a rectangle is 3 times its width. If the perimeter of a rect angle is 96 metres, find the lenght and breadth of the rectangle

l = 3b -----(1)


now ,


2(l+b) = 96

2(3b+b)= 96
4b = 48
b= 12 meter
now l= 3b
l= 3×12
l = 36 meters
