Given:     Length = (breadth + 6)

               Perimeter = 20

Answer: Perimeter = 2(Length + breadth)

                          10  = (Breadth + 6)  + breadth                 (Since L = B +6)

       therefore,    10 = 2breadth + 6

                             breadth = 2 units

                             Length  = 2 + 6 = 8units

Let breadth of a rectangle be x
lenght= x+6
Perimeter of a rectangle=20 units
2 (l+b) =20
2×(x+6+x) =20
2×(2x+6) =20
4x+12 =20
4x =20-12
4x =8
x =8/4
x =2
therefore lenght=x+6=2+6=8units
breadth=x=2units.
Hope this will help you
