Step-by-step explanation:

★ 'More than' means addition

Length = l

Breadth = b

According to the given condition

l = 2 + 3b --- (i)

Area of Rectangle = 120

By applying formula of!

Area of Rectangle = l × b

120 = (2 + 3b)b

120 = 2b + 3b²

3b² + 2b - 120 = 0

3b² + 20b - 18b - 120 = 0

b (3b + 20) - 6 (3b + 20) = 0

(b - 6) (3b + 20) = 0

b - 6 = 0

b = 6 (we accept this value)

3b + 20 = 0

b = - 20/3 (we neglect this value)

Putting b = 6 value in eq (i)

l = 2 + 3(6)

l = 2 + 18

Length = 20m

Breadth = 6m
