ANSWER

\large\underline\bold{GIVEN,}

\dashrightarrow One\:of\:parallel\:side(a)=80cm

\dashrightarrow distance\:between\:two\:parallel\\ sides(height)=4cm

\large\underline\bold{TO\:FIND,}

\dashrightarrow The\:value\:of\:other\:side(b)

. FORMULA IN USE,

\large{\boxed{\bf{ \star\:\: Area\:of\:trapezium= \dfrac{1}{2} (a+b)\times h\:\: \star}}}

\large\underline\bold{SOLUTION,}

\dashrightarrow Let\:the\:other\:side\:of\:trapezium\:be\:x\:cm.

\therefore  area\:of\:trapezium= \dfrac{1}{2}(a+b)\times h

\implies \dfrac{1}{2}(80+x) \times 4= 256

\implies \dfrac{1}{\cancel{2}}(80+x) \times \cancel{4}= 256

\implies (80+x)\times 2 = 256

\implies 80+x= \dfrac{256}{2}

\implies 80+x= \cancel\dfrac{256}{2}

\implies 80+x= 128

\implies x= 128-80

\implies x= 48cm

\large{\boxed{\bf{ \star\:\: x=48cm\:\: \star}}}

\large\underline\bold{LENGTH\:OF\:OTHER\:SIDE\:OF\: TRAPEZIUM\:IS\:48cm.}
