(h)^2=(5)^2+(12)^2
=25+144
=196

Here, Base(B) = 5 cm, Perpendicular(P) = 12 cm, Hypotenuese(H)= ?
Using Pythagoras Theorem,
H^2 = B^2 + P^2
H^2 = 5 X 5 + 12 X 12
H^2 = 25 + 144
H^2 = 169
H X H = 13 X 13
H = 13 cm
Hence, the hypotenues of rt angled triange = 13 cm
