As tangent makes right angle with radius -

OP^2 = OR^2 + PR^2

Here, OP = 13 cm and PR = 12 cm.

13^2 = r^2 + 12^2

169 = r^2 + 144

r^2 = 169 - 144

r^2 = 25

r = 5 cm

Hence, radius of the circle is 5 cm.
