Answer:

Let the ratio of length of sides of the triangle be 3 x , 4 x , 5 x

Perimeter = 60 cm

60 = 3 x + 4 x + 5 x

60 = 12 x

x = 5

Therefore, the sides are 3(5) = 15 cm

                                         4(5) = 20 cm

                                         5(5) = 25 cm

Area = sum of length of 3 sides / 2

        = 60 / 2 = 30 cm^2

The sides are in the ratio 3:4:5 then let the sides be 3x 4x and 5x.

3x+4x+5x= 60

12x =60

x = 5

The sides are 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm.

The area can be found by heron's formula

S = A+B+C/2

= 60/2

= 30

Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √(30)(30-15)(30-20)(30-25)

=√30*15*10*5

=√22500

=150 cm^2
