Given,

  • The ratio of Length and Breadth of Rectangle is 5 : 6.
  • The Perimeter of Rectangle = 44m

To Find,

  • The Area of Rectangle.

Solution,

Let's,

The Length of Rectangle = 5X

So,

The Breadth of Rectangle = 6X

The Perimeter of Rectangle = 44m (Given)

→ 2(Length + Breadth) = 44m

→ 2(5X + 6X) = 44m

→ 2(11X) = 44m

→ 11X = 44m/2

→ 11X = 22m

→ X = 22m/11

X = 2m

The Length of Rectangle = 5X

→ The Length of Rectangle = 5(2m)

→ The Length of Rectangle = 10m

The Breadth of Rectangle = 6X

→ The Breadth of Rectangle = 6(2m)

→ The Breadth of Rectangle = 12m

Required Answer,

The Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

→ The Area of Rectangle = 10m × 12m

The Area of Rectangle = 120m²
