the length and area of a wire is given as 0.2m and 0.5m .the resistance of that wire is 3 ohm. find out the resistivity ​

=> resistivity = RA/L

=> resistivity = 3*0.5/0.2

=> res = 3*5/2

=> res = 7.5

we know that Resistivity=R(A/L)

where R is resistance

A is area

L is length

so Resistivity =3(0.5/0.2)

=3(5/2)

=15/2

=7.5

so the resistivity is 7.5 ohm meter
