the length and breadth of the park = 5x and 2x

area of inside park = 5x * 2x = 10x²

length of outside park = 5x + 2 * 2.5 = 5x + 5

breadth of the outside park = 2x + 2 * 2.5 = 2x + 5

area of outside park = ( 5x + 5 ) ( 2x + 5 )

= 10x² + 25x + 10x + 25

= 10x² + 35x + 25

area of path = area of inside park - area of outside park

445 = 10x² - 10x² + 35x + 25

445 = 35x + 25

35x = 445 - 25

35x = 420

x = 12

length = 12 * 5 = 60

breadth = 12 * 2 = 24
