Solution ➤

❋Area of rectangle = Length × Breath

❍ Measurements of First rectangle-

Length = 9 m

Breadth = 6 m

∴ Area of First rectangle

= (9 × 6) m²

= 54 m²

❍ Measurements of Second rectangle-

Length = 17 m

Breadth = 3 m

∴ Area of Second rectangle

= (17 × 3) m²

= 51 m²

❍ Measurements of Third rectangle-

Length = 14 m

Breadth = 4 m

∴ Area of Third rectangle

= (14 × 4) m²

= 56 m²

❖ Comparison -

As, 51 m² < 54 m² < 56 m²

Hence,

Area of Third rectangle is Greatest.

Area of Second rectangle is Smallest.

Hope it helped ツ

Ello There!

-------------------------

Given,

Rectangle 1

l = 9m

b = 6m

Rectangle 2

l = 17m

b = 3m

Rectangle 3

l = 14m

b = 4m

----------------------------------

We know that,

\large\boxed{\mathbf{Area \ of \ a \ rectangle \ = \ Length \ * \ breadth}}

Now, we find the respective areas of the 3 Rectangles.

Rectangle 1

Area of rectangle ABCD

= Length × Breadth

= 9 × 6

= 54m²

Rectangle 2

Area of rectangle EFGH

= Length × Breadth

= 17 × 3

= 51m²

Rectangle 2

Area of rectangle PQRS

= Length × Breadth

= 14 × 4

= 56m²

-----------------------------------------------------

Now,

Area of rectangle PQRS is the greatest.

Area of rectangle EFGH is the lowest.

-------------------------------------------------------

Thanks
