the length and breadth of a 5cm rectangle in the ratio of 4:7 length is 15cm more than breadth. what are the length and breadth​

Then 4x=7y, x=y+15,

If we replace x in the equation we get

7y=4y+4*15

3y=60 cm

y= 20 cm

x= 35 cm
