 Area of the four walls =112 m^2

Diagonal (c)^2= a^2 + b^2 (Pythagoras theorem)

                       = (8)^2 + (6)^2

                       = 64 + 36

              (c)^2 = 100

                    c = square root  of 100

                    c = 10 m

Therefore the diagonal is of 10 m .
