volume \: of \: cube = {side}^{3}
 = {20}^{3}
 = 8000 {cm}^{3}

now,

volume of cube=volume of cuboid

let height be x

volume \: of \: cuboid \\ = l \times b \times h
8000 = 50 \times 40 \times h
8000 = 2000 \times h
h = \frac{8000}{2000}

h=4

therefore
the height is 4cm
