Answer:

The r.F. Of the scale will be 5 x 10^-4

Explanation:

The area of  actual field is = 33600 m2

Area of map = L x B;

Area on map = 12 x 7;

Area on map = 84 cm^2

Now calculating RF ;

Area on Map    to   Area on field

√84   to    √33600

9.16 to 183.3

R.F = 9.16 cm/183.3 m

1m = 100cm

R.F = (9.16 cm)⁄(183.3 x 100 cm)

R.F = 9.16/18333

R.F = 4.99 x 10^-4

The r.F. Of the scale will be 5 x 10^-4

Explanation:

Length in map = 0.12 m

Breadth in map = 0.07 m

Map area = 0.07 × 0.12 = 8.4 × 10^-3

Field area = 33600 m2

Representative scale = √map area ÷√ Field area
