HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:-

length = 21 (3/4) = 87/4m

breadth = 11 (1/4) = 45/4m

side of square tiles = 3/4m

now,

area of hall = (length × breadth)

= (87/4 × 45/4)

= (3915/16)

= 3915/16 m²

similarly,

area of square tiles = 3/4 × 3/4 = 9/16m²

thus, tiles are required to pave the floor of the hall = area of hall /area of tiles.

=> {(3915/16)m²}/{(9/16)m²}

=> 3915m²/9m²

=> 435 tiles

hence, tiles are required to pave the floor of the hall = 435
