Answer:

Let length and breadth be 5x and 3x

According to question

2(5x + 3x) = 64 m

2 × 8x = 64

16x = 64

x = 64/16

x=4

Then

length = 5×4=20m

breadth =3×4=12 m

Area of the hall = l×b = 20 × 12 = 240 sq m

Therefore

Cost of flooring the wall = 240 ×45 = ₹10800

Rs 9900

Step-by-step explanation:

let the original length be 5x and breadth be 3x.

then 2 (5x+3x)=64m

=) 2*8x=64m

=)16x=64m

=)x=64m/16

=)x=4m

now length =5x=5*4m=20m

breadt =3x=3*4m=12m

now area of hall = length*breadth

=20m*11m=220 Sq m.

cost of flooring=area × rate=Rs45×220

=Rs 9900. ans
